The SR-T-201 is a workhorse of a camera. The lens is a fine combination of sharpness and contrast or dynamic range. The design is minimalistic and ideal for a beginner in film photography. It has a built-in light meter that uses the needle-match feature where you have to make sure that two needles within the viewfinder align or overlay each other, and you get a perfect exposure; time after time.

The cosmetic condition is commensurate with the age of the camera, meaning that it is not perfect in looks, but, given the recent overhaul, it is in fine working condition. It has also been customized with a light camel leatherette.

It is solidly built - in other words; it is hefty with a classic mid-century design, quite minimalistic. There is a self-timer feature and a depth-of-field preview button.
