NP100 also handles acutance beautifully — that crisp edge where shadow meets light — with soft steps through shades of gray instead of crushing everything into hard black and white. Produced in Bitterfeld-Wolfen (film manufacturing since 1910), NP100 was finished into DX-coded steel canisters on ORWO’s modern finishing line — a classic-looking, limited-run B&W stock for daylight and carefully lit scenes.
