One film, many names
Santa Color 100, Popho Luminar 100, Film Washi X 100, Elektra 100 and Silberra 160 all hold the same film: Kodak Aerocolor IV Negative Film 2460. Each company puts it in its own packaging (Silberra is no longer in business), but what’s on the roll is the same.
Kodak built Aerocolor for aerial work such as geological, crop and forestry surveys, city planning and remote sensing, so it has a tough ESTAR base with high tear resistance and excellent dimensional stability, an abrasion-resistant emulsion and an antihalation undercoat. It develops in standard C-41 (or Kodak’s AN-6 chemicals). If the label doesn’t matter to you, buy whichever brand costs least — the film is the same.
