Looking for Rollei Blackbird 64 sample photos? These are eight ArtByPino frames on 35mm, shot with a Canon EOS A2E.
Rollei Blackbird is an ISO 64 black-and-white negative film made for Rollei by Agfa-Gevaert in Belgium, known for high resolution, fine grain and dramatic light. It develops in standard black-and-white chemistry, at a lab or at home.
Every frame was made in Edinburg, Texas. The roll covers the 1927 Southern Pacific Depot (Leonard B. McCoy; now the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce) with its SOUTHERN PACIFIC LINES window, the former Skinner-Silva Funeral Home with an arched portico, iron balcony and eagle medallions, St. Joseph Catholic Church, and the columned brick Stevenson House.
About the Stevenson House: This two-story columned house stands at the corner of South Closner Boulevard and Canal Street in Edinburg. Its original owners were Truman Elsworth and Ana Maria Stevenson, and it later belonged to their daughter, Susana Stevenson. Carlos Garza bought the house in May 2025 and plans to restore it.
