CineStill 50D is Kodak Vision 3 50D 5203 — a low-speed, daylight-balanced motion picture emulsion — with the remjet removed, so it is processed in standard C-41. For the same stock with the remjet kept and processed in ECN-2, see Reflx Lab 50D (Kodak Vision 3 50D 5203, ECN-2).
50D is fine-grain and sharp in bright sun: saturated pool blues, clean whites, and the soft highlight glow CineStill is known for. These poolside lifestyle portraits show how the stock renders skin and daylight contrast on medium format. The Holga 120N GCFN frames, made in McAllen, Texas, add palms against a blue sky, a ring-topped sculpture, a pink bench and the pool at Atrium Place Apartments.
