Japan Camera Hunter JCH StreetPan 400 filmis a versatile panchromatic film perfect for lovers of monochrome.
The emulsion is coated onto a transparent polyester base providing excellent dimensional stability. The thickness of the polyester base is 100µm (0.10 mm). The very fine grain and the high speed make this film ideal for various conditions.
The spectral sensitivity of this film is extended in the near-infrared panchromatic up to 750 nm. As a result, the film offers excellent penetration through haze, fog, and other atmospheric conditions liable to affect the image quality, creating sharp images.
Although at high speed, the grain of the emulsion is low, thanks to the 2-layer emulsion architecture. The low granularity makes the JCH StreetPan a straightforward film to scan. The scans deliver noise-free images in the image highlights. JCH StreetPan 400 also has a gelatin back coating to prevent scratches on the back of the film, which image scanners could pick up. Base substrate layers provide permanent anti-static properties to the film at exposure and after processing.
I will continue to order from Pino because he was really the only person with Ferrania 120, it arrived quickly and he included a really nice refrigerator magnet.
